Spectra Aviation Ltd. is a proven aviation Auditing Organization, specializing in Fixed & Rotary Wing Operations, Manufacturing and Aircraft Maintenance Organizations.
We are routinely engaged to audit assorted organizations as an independent 3rd party, performing both internal and customer audits. We have performed numerous audits for various major organizations, against certificate holders trying to achieve higher compliance levels to established standards and/or contract requirements.
Spectra Aviation Ltd. has effectively been providing quality ‘Product’, ‘Process’ and ‘System’ audits for assorted aviation organizations for almost 10 years. Our auditors are Transport Canada trained and/or possess additional qualification, such as that administered by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Our consultants have experience in AS-9100D (ISO) and currently hold or are working towards certification as an AS-9100D Lead Auditor.
Technical Writing
Spectra Aviation Ltd. has provided Technical Writing Services to many clients throughout Canada and internationally, including Fixed & Rotary Wing Operators, Aerospace Manufacturing Organizations and Aircraft Maintenance Organizations (AMO).
As many of our consultants have previously held senior management positions within the industry, we have extensive knowledge and experience in the preparation, management and ongoing support in regards to company manuals, documents and management programs.

APPROVED MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION (AMO) DEVELOPMENT

We have been involved from the ground up in providing turn-key solutions in the creation of new AMO’s, as well as ongoing development of existing organizations such as expansion into different markets requiring new type ratings, equipment/tools, and skilled personnel. PRE-PURCHASE AND PRE-LEASE INSPECTIONS
Spectra Aviation Ltd. can offer detailed inspections to ensure the quality and condition of an aircraft prior to purchase or lease.
Our consultants have both the hands on maintenance experience to carry out a thorough physical inspection of the aircraft, as well as knowledge and experience of sorting through aircraft documents to ensure compliance of scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, specialized maintenance, Airworthiness Directives (AD), Service Bulletins (SB), installed Supplemental Type Certificates (STC), and Weight and Balance Configurations.
Our detailed and well documented inspections have led our clients to make the best decisions when purchasing or leasing aircraft.
Typically the initial costs of carrying out such detailed inspections have resulted in saving our clients substantial cost savings (and downtime) in issues that may have been normally overlooked prior to acceptance of the aircraft.
